Series 3: Thing Megamorph

The MegaMorph sets include 2â articulated versions of the corresponding superhero or supervillain, the latter connecting to the MegaMorph to facilitate the transformation mode. It probably wouldnât be difficult to spot the Thing MegaMorph in a line-up. The vehicle mode is a kind a jeep/Hummer sort of hybrid that appears to be made of terra cotta tiles. The robot mode is gigantic, a blocky monolith comprised of orange bricks and ponderous mechanics. The Thingâs accident with the cosmic rays at first gave him a more shapeless and molten appearance with slightly lesser consistency and then eventually gave him a durable orange hide comprised of living rock impervious to most types of damage. Over the years, amidst evolving and altering stages of mutation, as the long-term effects of the cosmic rays have solidified, the Thingâs already impressive strength has increased substantially, eventually putting him into the Hulk bracket.
