Marvel Select: Skrull Action Figure 3-Pack

Contrary to the packaging, this figure set does not come with a stand.

The Skrull in the photo is the same one included in the Brood & Skrull Alien Legends 2-Pack, which was itself a carryover from an undeveloped Marvel Legends assortment. The Skrull 3-pack seems like a better concept, allowing one to amass a whole horde of Skrull warriors. Identified by murky green skin, a corrugated chin and exaggeratedly large pointed ears, the scrawny and malingering Skrull is clad in a skullcap, a jester collar, and a dark red jumpsuit. The Skrullâs nearly limitless shapeshifting abilities allow him to impersonate anything ranging from a toilet bowl to a superhero personality (although genetically enhanced warriors like the Super Skrull are required to assume and retain any applicable superhuman abilities and powers). Early attempts by the Skrull Empire to subjugate Earth are stymied by the Fantastic Four.
