5 Stars STORM IS A CLASS ACT…
Storm has hit the shelves…and she does it with style. I was expecting her to be in a different costume, but this one is great, too. Because of the costume, we are presented with a new body sculpt for the ladies of Legends. It looks quite beautiful on her…right down to her high heels. Her cape is made out of a lightweight, rubber material and is secured nicely around her wrists. So, it’s pretty durable. The articulation is very good and not overdone. The joints were tight and relatively seamless on the figure. Her head seems a little small, but her wind-blown locks make up for it and you really don’t notice it after a while. Her hair also limits her head mobility a lot, but you won’t miss that, either. She comes with a classic X-Men #96 comic book entitled, “Night of the Demon”. A good story that more or less starts and finishes with no real cliffhanger. The display stand is really nice. It can be displayed on a flat surface or hung on the wall and looks great in either situation. The column of clouds that she stands on rotates and pivots to provide you with just the right angle for your display. She doesn’t fit on her pegs too easily, but I’d rather have it be this way than too loose. As with most of the really good Marvel Legends figures, Storm is not stocked too heavily and may prove challenging to obtain. However, she is well worth your time and money to get her. Personally, this version is way better than the Mohawk variant. If they wanted to do a variant figure, ToyBiz should have put her in one of her many different costumes she has worn over the years.
